Tregiffian Cliff

We have been fortunate enough to have guardianship of 76 acres of land on Tregiffian Cliff, and are beginning to involve the area in our creative curriculum to enhance the children’s understanding of their local surroundings.

Having already visited the land with years 5 & 6, we can see the immense possibilities that it holds in developing children’s knowledge in many subject areas – everything  from Art to Science!

The children have thoroughly enjoyed the various activities they have so far had the opportunity to be involved in and there are more coming up. Some of the land has been cleared and restored to its original state as an area used for farming potatoes and daffodils – something that we are keen to re-establish.

We are keen for parents and friends of the school to help us with this area. We are also always on the lookout for adults who would like to join us on our trips to the site.

Watch this space and the display in school alongside Mrs Pascoe’s office for more information, pictures and videos!
