Olympic Torch Relay

We were delighted to receive a phone call from Land’s End Hotel this week, inviting us to take part in the launch of the Olympic Torch Relay tomorrow morning. All children were invited to submit a request for one of the 15 available places on the minibus. The lucky names were as follows; Harry K, Imogen B, Jack, Eva H, Jamie, Stephanie, Helen, Kerenza, Henry, Bryony, Jacob, Leah H, Kian, Jade, Shun-Zi.  Anyone else who will be at Land’s End is very welcome to join our group at the launch.

Penwith Schools Showjumping Competition

Our school’s ‘Buryan Broncos’ team of Stephanie, Rosie, Bryony and Ezmee  competed on Sunday.  They all gained valuable experience and several clear rounds were achieved.  Special congratulations to Stephanie who was placed 4th overall from the 48 entrants and well done to the rest of the team as well- after an absence of some years it was good to enter a team once again. Thanks to Mrs Cockfield for coordinating the team arrangements and to all parents and friends who supported the event.
