Marathon Assembly
On Monday Su White spoke in our whole school assembly about her training for the London Marathon, which she will be running in aid of the Barnado’s charity. As well as sharing some interesting facts about the Marathon she explained to the children that today’s non-uniform day was being held to collect money for this worthy cause. Many thanks for your contributions today which have totalled £87.75.
Football
Yesterday the ‘A’ team played Connor Downs School in the next match in the Large Schools’ League. The teams were very evenly matched and produced a very entertaining match which resulted in a 3-3 draw. Our players played well as a team, passing well and doing well against the Connor Downs team who have only lost one game in the League. Congratulations to all our players!
Hockey
Today we will play our last match in the hockey league, against Heamoor School. All players have received details and we wish them well.
